Grisel was born and raised in Miami. She is a true South Florida native who has seen Miami go from a town to a sprawling metropolis. Her parents came from Cuba when they were in their teens, and worked as a seamstress and a taxi driver/owner. Grisel graduated from Miami High, was married shortly thereafter, and is the mother of 4 beautiful girls. She was a stay at home mom that handled the home’s and family business’s finances. She has been in the real estate business for more than 22 years, all the while maintaining her real estate license. For a period of 5 years, she was a licensed mortgage broker who ran a successful mortgage company with 7 employees and 20 independent brokers. At the decline of the real estate market, she went back to school, and now holds a 2-20 Insurance Agent License as well. Grisel feels that her work in real estate is a way of making people’s dreams come true. She loves finding the right home for her clients and adding them to her list of friends for a lifetime.

Grisel’s greatest achievement has been raising 4 fine young ladies, 3 of which she has put through college and is still working on the 4th (she’s still just in elementary school). Her favorite way to spend her free time is playing in her beautiful yard…landscaping, working with the earth, watching trees and plants flourish, and giving thanks to the earth for being so kind to us.
